Scottish Stem Cell Research Fund
Supported by Scottish Enterprise, the UKSCF is launching a new fund to support stem cell research in Scotland, with the aim of speeding the transition into practical treatments and therapies for patients.
The UKSCF has already supported a number of stem cell research projects in Scotland, introducing much-needed funding to support the work of Scotland’s talented and innovative researchers and clinicians. With ongoing pressure on the public purse, it is becoming increasingly difficult to access funding for this exciting area of research. This has led to the Foundation - in conjunction with Scottish Enterprise - setting up a stem cell research fund specifically for Scotland.
